This cozy, modernist home flows to the outdoors in every direction. The open floor plan revolves around a professional galley kitchen with counter seating. The living room is flooded with natural light from all sides and the six-seat dining room opens to a private front patio. The back covered patio features a concrete fireplace and cocktail hour seating for warm summer nights. The secluded back yard is fully enclosed by architectural fencing and mature landscaping. Yet this peaceful setting is only three blocks from the bustle of Historic downtown Bozeman. Upstairs, the public space has both an office and yoga practice area. The French doors open onto a cantilevered, ’tree house’ porch, tucked under towering green ash trees. The master bedroom with a queen size bed has an en suite bathroom and south facing daybed. The queen bed guest bedroom also has an en suite bathroom and opens onto a porch, where views of the Bridger Mountains give you your “Montana weather report”. The third bedroom is normally a sitting room, with a sofa sleeper. It also opens onto the mountain side porch. This is a super-insulated, green construction home with solar hot water and in-floor radiant heat. All windows have full privacy blinds. There’s a washer/dryer, dishwasher and big screen with Apple TV. There is also a half bath downstairs. Built eight years ago, this 1800-square-foot home was a passion project of the homeowner. It’s adorned with artwork from around the world, handpicked by the owner who has worked overseas for twenty years. The homeowner lives in an apartment over the garage, but travels extensively for work. If he is home, he’ll tell you where to find grizzly bears, ripe avocados and chilled Sancerre. The following local favorites are within a ten-minute walk of the cottage: ~ Wild Crumb Bakery ~ Treeline Coffee Roasting and hip, new coffee tasting room ~ Montana Aleworks tap house and restaurant ~ The Co-Op Bakery/Coffee Shop/Health Food Store ~ Daily Coffee Bar, Rockford Coffee, International Coffee Traders ~ Un-Knotted Breakfast/Lunch Restaurant This cottage is an unplugged, Montana getaway. With all of the great things to do in Montana we encourage our guests to spend their time exploring all the area has to offer. There is fast wireless internet, no tv or cable service except for Apple TV.

      Winter Rate

      $269 per night $1775 per week Oct 1 – Dec 14 (before Christmas) Jan 5 – May 31 (except May 1-10) Base occupancy: 4 persons.

      Summer & Christmas Rate

      $269 per night $1775 per week June 1 – Sept 30 (Summer) Dec 15 – Jan 6 (Christmas) May 1-10 (MSU Graduation) Base occupancy: 4 persons.

      Cleaning Fee: $125.00
      Security Deposit Waiver $1500 Coverage: $45.00

      Policies

      Additional people above base occupancy are $30/person/night Children 0-18 months FREE
      CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES. Any cancellation made 60 days or more (For Lucky Dog Lodge it is 90 days or more) before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of the reservation deposit, less a cancellation fee of $75 plus credit card fees of 2.5% of any amount that has been charged to your card.

      Any cancellation made within 60 days (For Lucky Dog Lodge it is 90 days) of the scheduled arrival date shall be subject to a forfeiture of the Agreement payments (including the remaining balance payment), unless the Reservation Manager is able to re-rent the Premises for the reserved dates at an equivalent rate minus any cleaning costs, credit card fees and extra work incurred by the cancellation.

      TERMS OF PAYMENTS RESERVATION DEPOSIT. The 25% reservation deposit shall be paid to Bozeman Cottage, Inc. at the time of the reservation and will be held by the Reservation Manager to be applied toward the remaining balance. For reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date, the total amount is due unless other arrangements have been made.
