Just two blocks from main street in Downtown Bozeman, the Dahlia House is tucked away on Church Avenue, a quiet, tree-lined street in one of Bozeman’s oldest neighborhoods. Built in 1904, this historic home retains its vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, hardwood floors, and antique finishings, while offering modern qualities like grid-tied solar panels and core bonded insulation keeping it cool in the summer and cozy in winter.

The owners of the Dahlia House operate a small organic permaculture farm just north of town. This provides opportunities to have fresh flowers or vegetables delivered during your stay, as well as a visit to the farm!

When you’re ready to venture out, the pubs, eateries, and shops of downtown Bozeman are just around the corner. Montana State University is a five minute bike or drive or thirty minute walk away. (You’re welcome to borrow our bikes, Bozeman is a wonderful town to see on two wheels.) Our houseguests love the convenience of our location, and are also surprised at how quiet the neighborhood is, especially at night. Enjoy our peaceful and private backyard and help yourself to treats from the garden. If you’re looking for outdoor adventure and breathtaking scenery, Bridger Canyon is ten miles north of the Dahlia House, offering beautiful hikes, famous wildflowers, and our local ski resort, Bridger Bowl.

The Dahlia house has 2 Bedrooms, 1 full bath, a living/dining room with working wood-fired fireplace, and fully equipped, modern kitchen. The bedrooms are on the first floor with a dreamy king size bed. The second bedroom, with full-size futon bed and another full-size bed, is accessed through the main bedroom, perfect for children or infants. There is also a loft play space with a bed accessed by steep stairs; it’s very private but not appropriate for elderly or disabled individuals.

The living room has a sofa, large windows with wonderful light, fireplace, hardwood floors and steel bar. Open to the living room, our sunny kitchen features concrete countertops, modern gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and Flemish stainless steel cookware.

The gorgeous backyard is the perfect place to relax, eat meals, and hang out after a day exploring downtown or in the mountains. It’s fully fenced with lawn, trees, deck, barbecue, picnic table and kitchen garden.

Other amenities at the Dahlia House include a front porch where we usually keep our bikes, on-demand hot water heater that never runs out, washer, dryer, pantry, and wifi.

This cottage is an unplugged, Montana getaway. With all of the great things to do in Montana we encourage our guests to spend their time exploring all the area has to offer. There is fast wireless internet, no tv or cable service.

We warmly WELCOME PETS(maximum of 2) subject to pre-approval and with a $50/pet/week pet fee and $250 refundable pet deposit required. Must agree to pet rules and policies. We can let you know of walks, parks and places nearby for your pet’s enjoyment.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES. Any cancellation made 60 days or more (For Lucky Dog Lodge it is 90 days or more) before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of the reservation deposit, less a cancellation fee of $75 plus credit card fees of 2.5% of any amount that has been charged to your card.

Any cancellation made within 60 days (For Lucky Dog Lodge it is 90 days) of the scheduled arrival date shall be subject to a forfeiture of the Agreement payments (including the remaining balance payment), unless the Reservation Manager is able to re-rent the Premises for the reserved dates at an equivalent rate minus any cleaning costs, credit card fees and extra work incurred by the cancellation.

TERMS OF PAYMENTS RESERVATION DEPOSIT. The 25% reservation deposit shall be paid to Bozeman Cottage, Inc. at the time of the reservation and will be held by the Reservation Manager to be applied toward the remaining balance. For reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date, the total amount is due unless other arrangements have been made.
