In 2017 a whole new addition was completed to provide a spacious living room right off the kitchen. The main floor has the master bedroom (queen bed) and a full bath with shower, dining room, kitchen with pantry, and the backdoor leads out to the bbq deck and nicely landscaped outdoor space. The kitchen is fully outfitted with dishwasher, gas oven and stove, soap stone countertops, breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven.
Downstairs is a large bedroom with a queen and twin beds and a full bath with tub/shower.
Living room appointments include a leather sofa and club chair, cow hide rug, flat screen TV with streaming and basic cable, DVD player, and CD player. Of course there is internet/wireless access, gas grill and full laundry room. We have included coffee, tea, spices, paper products, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, soap, hair dryer, linens and towels.
Sure to please, Fridley Cottage is located in a quiet, historic Bozeman neighborhood, a short walk from downtown and only 8 miles from the airport. The property is south facing and quiet and the large yard has lots of shade and plenty of lawn.
This cottage is close to many of the other Bozeman Cottage offerings in the North Church historical district. Bohart Guest House, Garden Cottage, Northside Hideaway, and Quilt Cottage are all just a block away for larger groups.
The Fridley Cottage is a licensed and permitted tourist home facility through the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, License # 304688.
Five of us stayed at the cozy cottage house for a week. The location was super: a few blocks from Bozeman Main Street, grocery store, library, XC skiing right out the door, etc. The kitchen was well-equipped and the living room, though small, had super comfortable couch and easy chair. The beds were super comfortable, beautiful linens and the bathrooms beautifully decorated, comfortable, plush towels, etc. The laundry room was a godsend; warm, clean, new machines. The downstairs was a bit chilly for hanging out but warm for sleeping. Someone shovelled the snow from the sidewalk before we woke. All was perfect! If and when we return to BZN, we’ll definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this house for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The house is a 5-10 min walk to downtown and provides easy access to the mountains. The house is very cute and is well organized. We cooked dinner here 2 nights and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. I would definitely stay here again.

Our adorable cottage had everything we needed, efficient kitchen where we cooked up a few fabulous meals. Great location, a few blocks from downtown. The nearby train was a little annoying, but everyone on the north side has the same issue. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit our MSU son.

My family is from PA. We chose Fridley Cottage as our base camp to do some vacationing and also to move our youngest son to college (he’s Class of 2018 @ Montana State). The location and set-up of the cottage couldn’t have been better for us. We enjoyed the kitchen so much we opted to stay-in many nights for dinner versus dining out. What we really liked – location, size of the house (just right) and the kitchen! Suggestions – ease up on the 7 night minimum stay. We would love to use the cottage for long weekends when we come back for visits!

My husband, his brother and myself stayed in this delightful cottage for a week while visiting Bozeman and the surrounding countryside. We couldn’t have been happier. The neighborhood is full of interesting cottages and friendly folk.My favorite pastime is walking about in historical neighborhoods so I was thrilled to see the men folk head out to fish knowing that I would have an entire day to wander about Bozeman. Within walking distance is the University of Montana (beautiful buildings and grounds), downtown (plenty of shopping, coffee houses and cafes), a museum (I learned a lot about Bozeman in its wild west days) and even a noontime bluegrass concert (complete with food trailers for lunch). If you are in town during the summer try to catch Music on Main. They close down the street to traffic and hire a band (totally fun). Also we went to a small recording studio on Peach Street called “Live at the Divide” (catty-corner to the very good Wild Crumb bakery) and heard a fantastic americana band from Austin while they were doing a live broadcast. It was recommended by the property owners that we check out Montana Whitewater for activities. This turned out to be an excellent choice. We booked flyfishing lessons, whitewater rafting and a personalized, guided fishing trip on the Madison River for my husband and brother-in-law.In case you are in town for fishing we could recommend these spots: ***Hyalite Reservoir (it’s close and has both river fishing and lake fishing), **The river access in Manhattan (it’s close and has a quaint bridge and bank fishing at the end of the access road). If you are looking for a good meal try Ted’s. If you are looking for an even better meal try Blackbird. If you are going to Yellow Stone for the day make sure you pack a lunch because the eateries within the park have long lines and are of questionable quality.Thank you to Marissa and Paul for a meticulously kept, adorable cottage. Absolutely everything was provided to make our stay comfortable and worry free.

We loved this little house! First, it’s adorable. Very clean, nicely decorated. 2nd, the location is just a couple of blocks from downtown. We walked everywhere! And finally, the property manager was very nice to work with. We left an item behind and she was quick to get it back to us. So thank you! We will be back!

My friend and I stayed at the Bozeman Cottage and was very accommodating for our needs!! Adorable, warm & cozy home with all the amenities you would want PLUS some!! Only thing I would request is the check in and check out times were adjusted. check in at 4pm is a bit late and they request a SHARP 10am check out which I felt we lost a day when paying the rates required. Clean and close to Main Street!

Cute and cozy and great location. Perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Very nicely remodeled and close to downtown. Will definitely stay again.

This is a beautifully decorated and maintained house that provided a comfortable and convenient base for three of us working in the area for a few days. It’s within easy walking distance of restaurants and coffeehouses, very quiet, and equipped with fast wireless. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. A minor detail, but one we appreciated: We left a new hat hanging on a hook when we left for a few days up north, and the owner kindly checked to make sure it was there and let us back in to retrieve it when we came back through Bozeman headed to the airport. Reflective, we thought, of the quiet air of attentiveness we felt while staying here.

We absolutely loved staying in the Fridley Cottage! The house is very clean and livable, and the owner was lovely to work with. He thought of so many clever details that make this house comfortable and charming. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you!
