Tranquil Luxury on the River

This amazing cabin is surrounded by five acres of riverfront property on the Gallatin River, including a large grassy area which fronts 300 feet of the famous river. The cabin is located 15 minutes from the Bozeman Airport, downtown Bozeman, and Montana State University. Bozeman Hot Springs is around the corner and Cottonwood Golf Course is just down the road. Easy access to Highway 191 for trips to Gallatin National Forest hiking trails, Big Sky and Yellowstone Park. Approximately 45 minutes to either Big Sky or Bridger Bowl Ski areas.

This 1650 square foot cabin has been fully remodeled including new wood floors and much of the original 1920’s era log walls were preserved and add great color to the interior. The cabin is very well insulated to keep it cool in summer, and has forced air heat and a gas fireplace for colder months.

The second floor master bedroom suite with riverside deck has a 180-degree view of the river (queen bed, tub/shower). The fully outfitted kitchen has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric stove & oven, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, all newer models. Dining room table seats six and expands to seat ten. Enjoy the sunroom or enjoy the open air on the large deck with BBQ and hot tub.

The other queen bedroom is on the main floor, as is a bedroom with 2 extra-long twin beds. With 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, the River Bend Cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. The 6-bedroom Lucky Dog Lodge is 2 doors down, so this rental makes for great overflow lodging when both houses are rented together.

Reviews/Feedback

This is a well appointed “cabin” with a recently stocked kitchen. Terrific view and access to the gallatin. Beds are very comfy. Access to area is quick and easy. Communication with management is good and minimal. Nicely laid out living areas.

We have been coming to the Bozeman/Livingston area for more than 15 years and this is the most comfortable and accessible spot to stay that we have found. Beautifully appointed. Gracious living in MT! We’ll be back!

We rented River Bend and the Lucky Dog Lodge for a family reunion and celebration of my in laws 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and comfortable environment. The house is lovely, the location beautiful and inspiring. We had an exceptionally good time, and are likely to return. Thanks for sharing your home(s) with us. Plus between the two houses, families from KS, MO, IL, NM, CA, OR, and TX!

My wife and I have been going to Livingston/Bozeman area for 15 years, and this was the most comfortable spot we have stayed in. Well-maintained, clean and well located near downtown, but on the river.

We spent 6 days with our family including 2 sons and a daughter and their spouses. We had a terrific time and found the cabin as it appears on the site. It was clean and well maintained. We have been coming to Bozeman area for over 30 years and this is the first time we spent in a rental cabin (home). The fishing near the cabin was some of the best we have seen in all the years fishing. We also found time for some hiking in the mountains and some shopping uptown. We would recommend this to our relatives and plan to book this location again.

We had a great time at this fun cottage. All was as it should be in a rental property and we would love to return. There was only one fisherman in the party but he made good use of the river access.
