House on Peach Street

The Peach House is an extensively remodeled and beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bath home on Bozeman’s north side, close to a 2-block city park, a 3-block open field, a short walk to downtown Main Street (5 blocks away), and even closer to the seasonal Saturday Farmers’ Market at the Fairgrounds.

The house measures 1200 square feet, but in addition to that is a large breezeway with a 2-person hot tub and space to park bicycles and other gear, and a very large, private back deck with flowers, garden planters, fire pit and gas bbq grill. It has off-street parking under a covered roof in the driveway (just to the left of the breezeway in the first photo), and more parking along the side street. The outdoor space is landscaped with perennial flower beds and the front yard has huge shade trees in addition to the full size trees along the street. With hardwood floors throughout the main floor, and tile flooring in the kitchen, extensive remodeling has made the house extremely attractive, as the pictures show. Pluses include nice furniture, extra large slate shower addition, high speed wireless internet access, flatscreen tv with cable and a home theatre system.

Kitchen has tile floor, glass-top range which doubles as counter space, a side-by-side fridge with water and ice in the door, dishwasher, disposal, wall oven and microwave. The living room has narrow gauge oak which is very rare. Four-person kitchen table with pull out leaves, bar stools for the tall island, nice window shades and all new windows. We installed a large solar tube light over the kitchen which provides great amounts of natural light. The house also has a solar powered attic fan to keep the house much cooler in summer.

Other energy efficiency features include an on-demand hot water heater that never runs out, extra insulation all around, and full weatherization to keep the house cool in summer and warm in winter. Downstairs there is a large wood stove which heats the entire house. There is an efficient gas forced air furnace as well.

This house is located at the NW corner of Peach & Grand. Peach is a semi-through street so there is traffic during the morning, noon, and afternoon rush hours – most people are probably used to this amount of traffic if coming from a city, but all renters should know that this house is not tucked away in a quiet corner. Driveway is just to the left of each photo at the top of this page, with large breezeway where the hot tub lives.

We warmly WELCOME PETS(maximum of 2) subject to pre-approval and with a $50/pet/week pet fee and $250 refundable pet deposit required. Must agree to pet rules and policies. We can let you know of walks, parks and places nearby for your pet’s enjoyment.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES. Any cancellation made 60 days or more (For Lucky Dog Lodge it is 90 days or more) before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of the reservation deposit, less a cancellation fee of $75 plus credit card fees of 2.5% of any amount that has been charged to your card.

Any cancellation made within 60 days (For Lucky Dog Lodge it is 90 days) of the scheduled arrival date shall be subject to a forfeiture of the Agreement payments (including the remaining balance payment), unless the Reservation Manager is able to re-rent the Premises for the reserved dates at an equivalent rate minus any additional cleaning costs, credit card fees and extra work incurred by the cancellation.

TERMS OF PAYMENTS RESERVATION DEPOSIT. The 25% reservation deposit shall be paid to Bozeman Cottage, Inc. at the time of the reservation and will be held by the Reservation Manager to be applied toward the remaining balance. For reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date, the total amount is due unless other arrangements have been made.

Great Cottage Experience – My husband and I stayed in the Peach House cottage for a week. We enjoyed the amenities, including a very comfortable master bed. The kitchen was well appointed, with plenty of cooking utensils and nice extras like sugar, spices, etc. available to use. The location was nice and central to everything we wanted to do both in Bozeman and on the outskirts. It is also very easy to access the highway from the cottage to get to Yellowstone etc. The washer and dryer were very handy, with detergent and fabric softener provided. As others have said, the hot tub was also a great way to relax at the end of the day. The owners were very prompt in responding to any questions we had. We had no issues at all and would recommend this cottage.

This cottage was a warm home for our family while we visited family and traveled the area around Bozeman/Yellowstone over Christmas. The Decor is fun, The kitchen is well equipped, the beds were comfy… And the hot tub a nice bonus even when the weather was 6°F outside. The location is easy to get to and close to town. We had a small problem and Management was very quick to respond … Even On Christmas Day! Perfect!

We rented this home during my son’s graduation from MSU. It was in a good location; you can walk to downtown Bozeman. We liked its unique, remodeled touches, especially the upstairs bathroom shower! The downstairs area, although it stayed colder, was actually larger than expected (and had an extra toilet, sink and shower). The hot tub was clean and welcomed, but where it was located in the breezeway was not entirely aesthetic. The owners/property managers were thorough, responsive and friendly. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely recommend a stay here!

Peach House was a very comfortable base for our visit to our sons at MSU. Full kitchen enabled us to enjoy meals with them and their friends. Ordinarily, it would be easy walking distance to town, but early Feb. 2014 was a little chilly for that. Still, very convenient. Thank you for having us!

My husband and I stayed here while celebrating our anniversary in Bozeman. The interior was lovely, the kitchen in particular was nicely re-done. All the comforts of home. We enjoyed using the bikes on the premises. We would have liked a little more privacy in the hot tub area, it really does feel like a breezeway, but it was nice for relaxing after an adventurous day. Courteous and helpful owners made our short stay comfortable.
