This 1908 historic home was entirely rebuilt from the inside out with a design that unleashes color, texture, decor and modern conveniences that is playful and relaxing. While the original wood floors were preserved, everything else in the home is new.
South Bozeman Betty is managed by the longest running local vacation rental management company in town, Bozeman Cottage Vacation Rentals. a small homegrown Bozeman company with over 20 years of experience. As you enter the home you may be surprised that it is much larger than it seems from the outside. There are two homes in one but they rent together as one - the original house named “Betty” and the new nearly 900 sq ft attached additional dwelling unit named “Boop”. This design is perfect for two groups to have their own space while still being together. The sunny winter deck is positioned between the two areas of the house and includes a new hot tub.
First to describe the main house aka “Betty”: This Sears and Roebuck styled home has been totally redesigned with an open floor plan of the living room, kitchen and stairway that incorporates steel, wood and tile. The living room hosts an antique pump organ, plants, quirky decor and a Turkish hotel chandelier dated back the mid 19th century. Modern conveniences include wifi, large screen TV, gas built in fireplace, Sonos sound system.
The chefs in the group will enjoy the skylights above the gourmet kitchen while using a new six burner Thermador gas range, additional separate Thermador steam oven and a large Thermador refrigerator. The walnut farm table seats seven comfortably with two unique blue mercury hanging lamps from Australia. A large built in / pull out pantry provides extra storage and provides quick access and ease of use. There is a small powder room ½ bath off the kitchen.
Upstairs in the main house you will discover a private suite that is all your own. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen bed, venetian plaster walls, two closets, built-in storage and a beaded chandelier and windows that open to the south. Enjoy the custom tiled shower and bathroom with stained glass window. Attached to the private suite/lounge is the ‘yoga’ room with balcony, coffee station, wine fridge, books, Wi-Fi, Roku and Apple TV and sofa that provides a vacation from your vacation.
Downstairs behind a sliding door you will find a small master bedroom with a queen bed off the living room that has an enclosed shower, toilet and sink and closet with windows that open to the east. Above the sink hangs a chrome refurbished submarine light and custom paint job that adds to this room's modern and funky charm.
As you walk down the hall that connects “Boop” discover a large collection of cookbooks in the built-in shelves across from the sliding doors out to the patio and gas patio fireplace on the south deck. The attached split level addition has a bedroom suite with a queen size bed downstairs with windows to the south, west and north with an attached full bath. The downstairs level has radiant floor heating. Upstairs is an additional living room with a mini kitchen with a sink, full size refrigerator, a nostalgic A&W orange booth, gas fireplace, Sonos sound system, couch and large TV. Above is a small cozy loft with full size bed for hanging out, taking naps and reading. Access to the street is available from “Boop” or through the main house.
The location is perfect and quiet while being only one block from Bogert Park and two and a half blocks from Main Street. On the same block visit Ghost Town coffee then take a short walk to be at the hottest spots in Bozeman within minutes. Two parking spots are available in the driveway along with street parking.
As with all houses managed by Bozeman Cottage, South Bozeman Betty is equipped with a drip style coffee maker, a starter pack of fresh, local coffee, linens, pots/pans, cooking utensils, spices, dry goods (flour, sugar, etc), EO brand non-toxic body products, and comes with organic coffee & grinder. We also provide extensive local info on everything from where to buy real Montana meat & locally grown vegetables to great hiking trails, rafting links to restaurant coupons. We believe in local economies and know the best places!

Cancellation Policy
All houses have drip coffee makers and coffee grinders- we also provide a starter pack of fresh, locally roasted Ghost Town coffee. We highly recommend trip insurance.
CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES. Any cancellation made 60 days or more before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of the reservation deposit, less a cancellation fee of $100.
Any cancellation made within 60 days of the scheduled arrival date shall be subject to a forfeiture of the Agreement payments (including the remaining balance payment), unless the Reservation Manager is able to re-rent the Premises for the reserved dates at an equivalent rate. If re-booking is successful then your refund will be the sum of the cleaning fee on your reservation, any bed tax applied to your reservation, and 70% of the make-up nightly rental income amount.
Cancellation policy for summer reservations of month or longer stays is 90 days. Reservation deposit for these reservations is 25% and non-refundable. Balance payment is due 90 days prior to arrival.
Deposit Policy
TERMS OF PAYMENTS RESERVATION DEPOSIT. The 25% reservation deposit shall be paid to Bozeman Cottage, Inc. at the time of the reservation and will be held by the Reservation Manager to be applied toward the remaining balance. For reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date, the total amount is due unless other arrangements have been made.

"Awesome house and location"
This is a great house, plenty of space and awesome location to Main St and MSU campus. We had a great time visting our son with plenty of space to host Easter dinner! Paul was very easy to deal with and super responsive. We would come back to Bozeman Cottage when we return to Bozeman.
Gorgeous house! Pictures do not do this place justice. Perfect mix of historic charm and modern furnishings and amenities. Basically three separate suites plus an excellent place to throw the kids. Will definitely try to stay again!

"Bozeman Betty is a dream"
This is our fourth stay with Bozeman Cottage Vacation Rentals. (Check out Lucky Dog and the Downtown Villa.) Each property has been top-notch and Paul is very easy to work with.
Bozeman Betty truly has it all! The pictures online don't do this quirky/classy/fabulous property justice. There are two parking spots. The internet is fast. The hot tub is a HUGE bonus. Almost everything downtown is a walkable distance.
The decor is fantastic, but the showstopper here is the kitchen. We had a professional chef in our group and the things that came out of this kitchen can't be beat. We'll be talking about the refrigerator and range for a long time! Without hesitation, we'd love to come again.
Place was great, had everything we needed. Close to downtown, very walkable. Defiantly recommend a stay here!

Our family had a memorable stay at this unique and welcoming home (not just a house, this is a HOME). This gal, Betty, surely has her own untamed and eccentric life force and absorbing story! My daughters are still wondering why Snow White is missing the 7th dwarf, my husband relived Jr. High band days with the coronet, and I'm busy making plans for my one wild and precious life.
This was our first time direct booking with Bozeman Cottages, which was recommended by my in-laws. We are more than satisfied with the level of hospitality that was received by Paul and his crew. The emails he sent about local recommendations and information was greatly appreciated by all of our family members. We had no major issues while staying here, but if we needed anything that we couldn't manage on our own, I am confident that resolution would've come quickly since Paul is very timely and receptive.
This home comfortably accommodated our family of six, allowing us space to gather, and also space for privacy. It was nice to have three full bathrooms. The clean hot tub was much appreciated after skiing. The wifi was fast and dependable. Once we figured out the TV system, we had many options to watch what we wanted. The directions to the house were accurate and it was easy to gain access to the home. This neighborhood was quiet, cozy, and within short walking distance to downtown.
We will most definitely use Bozeman Cottages in the future, and we will request to stay at this warm and weird "Betty" and her "Boop" again.

Came with a group of four friends (five total), we had a WONDERFUL time. Super warm and cozy, adorable, homey, comfortable. The kitchen was incredible- had everything we needed to make dinner. The hot tub was lovely in the snow. VERY walkable, just a few steps from Main St (tons of restaurants and stores). Paul was flexible and very responsive- he made us feel very welcome. We can’t wait to come back!

This quaint, quirky well-appointed home will add to any Bozeman visit. Perfect location to walk into historic Bozeman. It is actually 2 separate living areas so, every guest can find their own space. Spacious kitchen overlooking the living room -> b/c we always end up standing around the kitchen for the best conversations.

We all loved Betty Boop the minute we walked through the front door! Loved the decor, the layout and feel of the place. And the kitchen is something I'd love in my house - especially the oven!! It was brilliantly located with an easy walk to Main Street and all the shops, restaurants and bars. Paul and Antoinette were brilliant hosts - responding quickly to all of my questions, and always on-hand if we needed them. Betty Boop is perfect for families and large groups without giving you the feel of being on top of each other. We highly recommend Betty Boop as your Bozeman home away from home :)))))
Some friends wanted to plan a “staycation” weekend here in town when we happened upon Betty. As a Bozeman native, I am always a bit more critical when I book a local property; but I was completely blown away the moment I stepped out of the car. Before you even enter the home the amazing design and just “good vibes” radiate from the home. When you enter it gets even better. Every inch of this home had been lovingly restored and it is such a joy to walk through the space exploring all the beautiful artwork and all the design touches the owners put into this truly exceptional home. The check in book gives all kinds of fun history and just waking around looking at the light fixtures in each room is like a art gallery walk.
The home is located in the ideal location you can walk EVERYWHERE from the house. Particularly the downtown area and you have great access to the farmers market and trails by Pete’s hill. Parking is also a breeze here, something that can be hard downtown. Dream rental!

Home is very clean, quirky and with tasteful décor. Our group loved staying here as there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out but great common spaces. The Betty house was amazing! The house was very well equipped with everything you need from a well stocked kitchen to high end soaps for showering.
