This beautiful four bedroom contemporary home sits on two private acres with pond, creek, fantastic yard, and borders open space with trails, less than 3 miles from downtown Bozeman. We price our large capacity house based on the number of people in your party so the cost is kept low for smaller groups. The rate calculator will automatically adjust the cost by $20/person per night if your group size is larger than the base occupancy rate. The base occupancy rate varies throughout the year from 5 to 8 people.

Come stay in this beautiful four bedroom contemporary home located in Bozeman on 2 acres of land that is truly a recreational paradise. Located on a quiet dead end street, you will be able to enjoy peace and tranquility while only being a 5 minute drive from main street and one mile south of MSU. Recently remodeled with a modern flair and open floor plan the main level of the house has two open living rooms, TV, fireplace, full bathroom, two bedrooms, kitchen nook and a massive fully stocked modern kitchen and dining area with a six burner wolf range. This kitchen is a chef's paradise where you can cook while enjoying your friends and family as they sit at the kitchen bar. The upstairs primary bedroom has a queen bed, two walk-in closets, a massive bathroom with radiant floor heat, steam shower, Jacuzzi bathtub and opens to the backyard decks and private garden. Downstairs there are 2 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and another TV / game room living area. The downstairs primary has a queen size, full bathroom with steam shower, and opens to the gardens at ground level, a remote controlled gas fireplace, stunning bathroom and walk-in closet. The second downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and its own full bathroom.
Once outside you will be welcomed with extensive flower gardens and beautiful landscaping. We have collected and planted over a hundred different plants in our ornamental gardens and invite you to eat from the raspberry patch, feed the koi in our fountain, sit at the bench overlooking the pond and enjoy a relaxing stroll through our aspen forest and dip your toes in the creek as you sit on the bridge. Our paths wander through the property and at the end or our meadow connect to over 80 miles of trails via the Main Street to the Mountains system. These trails are used by commuters, runners, bikers, birdwatchers, and stargazers and help make the Gallatin Valley the best place to live under the Big Sky. Designed for ultimate recreation enjoy the in-ground trampoline, play a game of bocce on the 70' crushed granite course, or a game of croquet, ping pong, badminton or volleyball. Once the day is done is a perfect time to enjoy the outdoor shower and soak in the new six person hot tub.
If you are up for "glamping" then settle into the Japanese sleeping porch in the backyard, our take on a Japanese style tea house with a Montana flair with its red ski chair swing from Bridger Bowl Ski Area. Open up the massive front door and side door of the sleeping room to overlook the firepit, pond and aspens. Totally protected and safe, dry and cozy you can tuck up to four people in a queen size bed and a set of twin beds and listen to the creek and let the sounds of the wild lull you to sleep.
After 6 years of modernization this property is best described by the photos. It feels like it is much further than 2.7 miles from downtown due to the foliage and setting.
As with all Bozeman Cottage vacation rentals, the Sundance Secret Lair is fully equipped with a drip style coffee maker, coffee grinder, a starter pack of fresh, local coffee, linens, pots/pans, cooking utensils, spices, dry goods (flour, sugar, etc), EO brand non-toxic body products, and comes with organic coffee & grinder. We also provide extensive local info on everything from where to buy real Montana meat & locally grown vegetables to great hiking trails, rafting links to restaurant coupons. We believe in local economies and know the best places!

Cancellation Policy
All houses have drip coffee makers and coffee grinders- we also provide a starter pack of fresh, locally roasted Ghost Town coffee. We highly recommend trip insurance.
CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES. Any cancellation made 60 days or more before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of the reservation deposit, less a cancellation fee of $100.
Any cancellation made within 60 days of the scheduled arrival date shall be subject to a forfeiture of the Agreement payments (including the remaining balance payment), unless the Reservation Manager is able to re-rent the Premises for the reserved dates at an equivalent rate. If re-booking is successful then your refund will be the sum of the cleaning fee on your reservation, any bed tax applied to your reservation, and 70% of the make-up nightly rental income amount.
Cancellation policy for summer reservations of month or longer stays is 90 days. Reservation deposit for these reservations is 25% and non-refundable. Balance payment is due 90 days prior to arrival.
Deposit Policy
TERMS OF PAYMENTS RESERVATION DEPOSIT. The 25% reservation deposit shall be paid to Bozeman Cottage, Inc. at the time of the reservation and will be held by the Reservation Manager to be applied toward the remaining balance. For reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date, the total amount is due unless other arrangements have been made.

We booked the secret Sundance liar for a bachelorette party and it did not disappoint. The house and surrounding yard are truly beautiful, spacious, decorated lovely and stocked with everything needed for our stay. Location is great, less than 10 minutes from everything downtown Bozeman has to offer. Even before our stay Paul was helpful and communicative answering all my questions and sending local recommendations. We had a bit of trouble getting in and the management company/Paul were there right away to assist us and it was great meeting them in person. To also note we had a private chef with staff and they loved the kitchen and had everything they needed for cooking and presentation so it is well stocked and designed well. Another anecdote is that everyone we encountered during our stay from Paul, Uber drivers (which are incredibly easy to get we didn’t have a car and used all weekend), tour guides, servers, people on the street were so friendly and helpful and made our stay!

This home was above and beyond our expectations - everything was exactly as pictured or even better in person! A huge property beautifully decorated inside and out. We hope to be able to rent this gorgeous home the next time we are in Bozeman. It is located in a quiet residential area close to trails making it a perfect spot to experience the Bozeman lifestyle.
A Bozeman Gem! The house is beautiful, the gardens and grounds were all in bloom while we were there which made it even more special. The location is a few miles from town, so you have easy access to everything Bozeman has to offer, but a retreat waiting for you when you are done. We’ve stayed all over the country, Montana has our hearts. Amazing.

This is a place unlike any other short term rental I’ve ever seen. Especially for cooks, the kitchen is equipped better than mine at home with every gadget and utensil you could possibly need. The layout of the house is great for large groups with everyone still having their own space. It’s GORGEOUS. We saw mule deer nearly around the clock out most every window. Beds and linens were high quality and comfortable and location was fantastic. The master bathroom has a steam shower and really nice jetted tub for your personal spa day. The house was just the epitome of luxury and we would highly recommend it to other travelers.

Fantastic experience all around! The house is amazing! The kitchen was easy to use, the bedrooms lovely and everyone had plenty of space. The back yard was our favorite place to hang out and visit and we enjoyed the amenities. We loved Playing bocce , jumping on the trampoline making s’mores- it was great fun! Paul is a pleasure to work with and made us feel right at home. We rented bikes from his as well, so we got to enjoy the trails that back up to the property. The owners are lovely and we were happy for the chance to meet them, too. Highly recommend!!

The spacious layout was very comfortable for our two families who were traveling together, and the garden, sleeping porch, view from the deck, and access to bike /walking trails all made our stay extra special.
